I only found one thing and it was significantly misquoted and out of context.

The incident that girl is writing about is smack-dad in the middle of a three song anti-war set and it goes like this.

"Jesus, Jew/ Muhammed, it's true/ Jesus, Jew/ Muhammed, it's true/ All sons of Abraham

Father Abraham, Father Abraham/ Where are you now, Father Abraham?/
Father Abraham, look what you've done/ You've pitted son against son.

No more, no more, no more."

If this is a call to universalism from the anti-christ it's a pretty lame one. To see it in all it's heathen glory for yourself let me know (I have it on DVD so that when I want to worship at the altar of Satan all I have to do is pop it in the Sony and kill a chicken!)Kimberly Cangelosihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00739099899201439587noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13004974.post-1135363132533918712005-12-23T12:38:00.000-06:002005-12-23T12:38:00.000-06:00Pfft.. If you're looking for some of the things a lot of people who have not fallen under the Bono trance have been put off by for a long time then this article might be more in line...

http://relevantmagazine.com/pc_article.php?id=7089Scotthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06748025048481866622noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13004974.post-1135159496286921212005-12-21T04:04:00.000-06:002005-12-21T04:04:00.000-06:00I think Bono and the Gates family were good choice...I think Bono and the Gates family were good choices, if for no other reason that to push others to use the celebrity they have been given in similar fashion.

As for the other stuff...who gives a F*** if Bono drops the f-bomb.

And for the record...I am not sure how distant they were from their faith in the 90s. Just in a different phase.

As for the hotness of girls that are discussed. Both are attractive. Alyson Hannigan (Buffy, American Pie, How I met your mother) should also be on the list.Friar Tuckhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18404281343475373969noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13004974.post-1135147316048636922005-12-21T00:41:00.000-06:002005-12-21T00:41:00.000-06:00If I ever had a girl-crush it was on good old Agen...If I ever had a girl-crush it was on good old Agent Scully! As for Angelina, you might be too young to remember the Billy Bob days... Try as I might, I just can't erase the image of her hanging off Billy Bob with a coked-out glaze in her eyes and a stroke-victim leer on her lips...spooky!Kimberly Cangelosihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00739099899201439587noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13004974.post-1135035845342150072005-12-19T17:44:00.000-06:002005-12-19T17:44:00.000-06:00Hi Lauren, I agree with you. What the second argument I linked to says is that it doesn't matter so much if a person does things differently than we do, what matters is that they speak the truth, and Bono has done that about the crisis in Africa.

About the Gates couple...I really didn't know much about what they had done until I heard the "persons of the year" report on CNN and it was pretty amazing. It said they had given away more money at a faster rate than anyone in history and that they have revolutionized humanitarian work by treating it with the same standards of efficiency and excellence as one would a business enterprise. It sounds like Bill Gates and his wife are kind of leading the effort to get vaccines to children in third world countries. He was saying that by simply getting all children immunized you could prevent up to 3,000,000 deaths a year!Kimberly Cangelosihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00739099899201439587noreply@blogger.com
