It was 10 times cooler then this in person! But it's nice to give people an idea.

Thanks for sharing that, Kim. That is beautiful. Was that first part supposed to be Adam and Eve (the original sin)?
This computer (at work) is old and running off Windows '98 still so the video is choppy and sort of hard to see.

Hi Kristin! Your right about the first part, it is adam and eve. This video is actually just the end of Demel's thing - it starts out with the creation story and he does planets and "creeping" things and such. It is a pretty cool thing to see.

Cool. I hope he does it outside of the Arts Conference sometime so all of us can see it!
P.S. I haven't see you in forever and I was reluctant to post on here because I didn't know if you would know who I was. Now that I have pics on my site it's easier for people to see who I am. :)
So I also wanted to thank you for putting up those OLD U2 videos. Those were so cool. I'm a huge fan of U2 (especially their older stuff).

I saw the same at the promiseland conference in march. It was a moving moment. I didn't know, that Mark Demel was the "sandman" - I was just looking for information about him at google because of his drama work. By the way, I saw, that the picture with the "hand of Jesus" was painted by him, too. He really is blessed with a lot of various creative possibilies.

Thanks for posting this -- I was trying to show a friend what I'd seen at the Global Leadership Summit and this was enough to communicate it :-)

Wow! I had a class with Mark this year at the Arts Conference. I wish I'd known about this before I spoke with him. He's always been one of my favorite script writers and I knew he was also a visual artist but I had no idea about the sand art. Mark rocks!

Thanks, Kim!
