Red Rock Casino has a Kids Quest that provides day care for $7/hour on weekdays and $8/hour on weekends. The facilities are supposed to be really nice, and all the workers are trained in CPR and first aid. The baby area is well staffed so that they never have more than 4 babies for every one day care provider. All children are required to be up on their immunizations.
I am feeling very tempted to use this service. Ross and I haven't been on a date since Steph and Mark were in town, and as much as I love family time, I also miss hanging out, just the two of us. It would be so nice to be able to drop Remy off with some "cute and earnest" young women (who I am pretty sure are not as tired as I am) for a couple of hours while we grab dinner and a movie just steps away.
Before Remy was born I thought I might never have the guts to leave him with a babysitter, but this place may make me change my tune. I am thinking maybe next weekend? If we do it I will let you know how it goes!

Like the pool visits (mentioned above) I think you should take advantage of whatever amemnities are available in that little oasis in the desert. I'm sure Remy will enjoy making conquests of the young women providing care. Just don't get jealous.
Was considering going this weekend but then Remy came down with a cold so maybe next week. We got some coupons in the mail for Red Rocks - $10 slot machine credit and $10 dinner credit!
totally do it!!! I remember when we were there we saw that and it looked nice!! I also remember us laughing at the notion of day care in a casino!!! Only in Vegas, whatever works!! Remy will be absolutely fine and you and Ross will be happier parents after a little alone time!! Win Win!
