I'm a Midwesterner married to a Southerner, raising a family in Las Vegas and appreciating the beauty along the way!
I'm not a big fan of the album as a whole, but I love Mirrors and Smoke. :)
Yeah, Mirrors and Smoke sounds more like it belongs on Who We Are Instead or something. That's probably my favorite of their albums so when I first heard the sound of this one I was not thrilled, but it is really growing on me.
Hi Kim, I talked to mom last week. She called after she got home from the hospital. Thanks for the updates. I'm a little slow at viewing my blog site. I don't visit it too often anymore. I mostly just visit mom's blog these days. Which she hasn't been posting lately. We got lots of snow. But it is melting fast with all the sun lately. Gotta go.Love, Valerie
Who is the female voice in Mirrors and Smoke? It almost sounds familiar.
It's Leigh Nash from Sixpence None the Richer - they did that Kiss Me song a few years ago. Good ear Mamacakes!
