Thanks Dad! The mauve is actually a mixture of alizarion crimson and dioxine purple. It's going to be the shadow color when everything is all filled in. I would have rather have painted a palmetto but didn't have a reference handy. Am thinking maybe I'll start taking my lap top to class so I can use my own photos.

They're both nice and I like the mauvein the palns. Where could that inspiration have come from?
