On January 3rd Variety reported that talks were in the works at 20th Century Fox to put critically acclaimed, prematurely cancelled Futurama back into production.Then, on January 19th, Billy West announced on a fan message board that the talks were completed and the cast would be reuniting in late summer to begin recording four new, feature length movie DVDs!

Like The Simpsons, Futurama is an intricately developed universe of zainy characters that deftly satarizes modern day life while helping you get in touch with your inner idiot. What's not to love?
Go rent the first season and give it an honest go - I'm sure you'll be glad you did!
I never thought I would like this show to be honest it just looked dumb to me. BUT when I saw it at Steph's with you guys I have to admit I was laughing quite a bit!! One night I will have to come over and watch some more with you.
Yeah, Futurama party! I recently read somewhere that Futurama is The Simpsons only with more heart. It's surprising but true. The Simpsons has never made me cry, but there are a couple of episode of Futurama that got me all teared up. But mostly it's just funny as heck!
