Madison Meadows

We have an 89 acre park (Madison Meadows) just a block and a half from our house and, with a pond and a meandering path, it's a good place to go for a walk. It's also a good place to play tennis, which we are both looking forward to, and an ok place to play roller hockey, which only one of us is looking forward to :P

Hi Kim, Is that last photo the result of some special technique?
Very nice.

Thanks Dad! Nothing special, just the sun behind us casting our shadows on the path :)

Beautiful. I wish our town had enough water to have a park and pond like that. I am jealous.

Hi Clint! We have a ton of water here and I don't know where it comes from - we don't have a river or lake passing through town or anything. I think it might be natural springs? We (and a lot of folks in the neighborhood) have sump pumps that run all year round, even during dry spells. The down side is the flooding! Even with the sump pump our basement floods several times a year (just a few inches) and the neighbor whose yard backs up to ours gets a freakin' pond in his yard when the snow melts or we have a hard rain.

I forget, are you still living in Colorado?

Maybe its the arc of the branches, somehow there's 1) concavity or 2) concavensess or 3) curvilinearity or 4) something
